Description
A deep dive into a three-day hackathon where participants will be challenged with aerial vision–based problems, integrating AI/ML with UAVs. Teams will develop innovative AI solutions for real-time data processing and autonomous decision-making in drone operations.
Prize Money
First Prize - Rs. 10,000/-
Second Prize - Rs. 6,000/-
Third Prize - Rs. 4,000/-
Problem Statements
1. Human Detection and Tracking
Participants must train the given dataset and develop an algorithm based on that.
Participants need to keep in mind the conciseness of their algorithm as it will run on a raspberry pi OS and not on their personal devices, requiring them to take computation into account
Open-Source Algorithms will not be entertained.
2. Urban UAV navigation
Participants must train a model capable of making a path for a UAV flying through an urban area consisting of buildings and various obstacles
The UAV will have a start and end point, between which payload delivery points will be given
The participants are challenged with creating an efficient model to perform this task
3. Sign Language Interpretation
The Algorithm must be able to detect all sorts of hand gestures, even from an aerial view.
Computation must be taken into consideration as the model will be expected to run on a raspberry pi system
Open-Source datasets can be used but open-source algorithms will not be entertained.
Rules and Regulations
A team must consist of 3 members.
Teams that plagiarize code/content will be disqualified.
Abstract submission by Day 1 before 5 PM is mandatory.
Open-source algorithms are not allowed for PS1 and PS3. Open-source datasets may be used for PS3, but models/algorithms must be original.
There must not be any sharing of content across teams.
Note: PS - Problem Statement
Accomodation- Provided in college hostels for a certain amount.
Refreshments- none provided for participants.
Additional Notes: Any good/practical submissions will be tested in real world scenario using suitable electronics at the end of 3rd day
