The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Kongu Engineering College, in association with the Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), Digital Signal Processing Laboratory, and the Intel Unnati Centre of Excellence, is organizing a two-day Hands-on Workshop on "Advanced AI for Real-Time Image Processing Applications." This workshop is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Vision, and Deep Learning for real-world image processing applications. Participants will learn image enhancement and preprocessing techniques, CNN model architecture, image classification, feature extraction, real-time object detection using YOLO, thermal imaging applications, and AI deployment on NVIDIA Jetson Nano edge devices. The workshop also includes Python programming for image processing and guidance on developing AI-based projects from concept to implementation. Through industry-oriented hands-on sessions, live demonstrations, and practical exercises, participants will gain valuable experience in building intelligent vision systems for applications such as smart surveillance, healthcare, industrial automation, autonomous systems, and robotics. A certificate will be provided to all participants upon successful completion of the workshop.
